Active Biotech receives 5 MSEK from VINNOVA LUND, SWEDEN — (MARKET WIRE) — November 21, 2006 — Active Biotech receives 5 million SEK from VINNOVA’s (SwedishGovernmental Agency for Innovation Systems) program “Research andGrow”.
The funds will be used within a pre-clinical project for thedevelopment of a new generation of pharmaceuticals for
the treatmentof autoimmune/inflammatory diseases. The project is partly performedin collaboration with scientists at Lund University.
