NEW YORK, NY — (MARKET WIRE) — February 06, 2007 — Asia Telecom Ltd. (PINKSHEETS: ATLJ) is proudto announce that the Company has opened its own Point of Presence (PoP) inthe Russian Federation in Q4 of 2006 through collaboration with its jointventure partner. The technical site for the equipment is shared by thedata-center of Golden Telecom Inc.
The Company has also made an application to the “Rossvyaznadzor” for thelicense to provide all Dial-Up, ADSL and VoIP services to residents in thecity of Moscow and surrounding areas.
CEO Ayaz Karimov stated: “The establishment of a technical infrastructureand obtaining the relevant licenses are part and parcel of what it takesfor our Company to arrive at its annual revenue target for our jointventure of US$30 million.”
