Criollo Celebrates the Release of Its Album “BaHiRe” at Club Soda MONTREAL — (MARKET WIRE) — November 14, 2006 — One Island Music Inc. and S3NSE Communication areproud to invite you the official album release party of Criollo’s debutalbum entitled “BaHiRe” that will take place on November 24th, 2006 at ClubSoda.
The all-ages event inaugurating
the launch of the debut album “BaHiRe” ofCriollo will offer tracks off the new album and never before heard songs inwhich catchy beats intermesh with fluid lyrics and rich sociallyconscientious content. DJs and guest artists will also be part of the eventand will share the stage with Criollo. The doors will open at 7 p.m. andthe show will begin at 8 p.m.

Criollo, meaning “of, or pertaining to, a Spanish American country,” isformed of 4 musicians who all share roots of the Dominican Republic. Since2002, Salvador “Sol” Valdez, Alexis “El Gordo” Grullón, José “Chiro” Mataand Gilbert “Giby” Capellan are members of Criollo. The uniqueness of theirmusic derives from a rich synthesis of Bachata, Hip Hop and Reggaetonsounds. Inspired by their personal experiences and delivered in theirmother tongue of Spanish, the album “BaHiRe” offers us songs that bearelements of the tropics that address social subject matters and conveymessages of determination, courage and hope.
