ENVIRON’s B2BWEEE-Scheme Receives Formal Environment Agency Approval

LONDON — (MARKET WIRE) — January 30, 2007 — Ewire — ENVIRON is pleased to announce the receiptof the formal approval documents for its Producer Compliance Scheme fromthe Environment Agency on the the 30th of January.

The UK WEEE Regulations require manufacturers and importers of electricaland electronic equipment to join an approved PCS by the 15th March 2007.The formal approval documents for ENVIRON’s B2BWEEE-Scheme are published onwww.b2bweee-scheme.com and the scheme is now open for membership.

The Scheme offers major benefits to its members in terms of service andflexibility. For Members who do not have existing WEEE collection andrecycling arrangements, the Scheme can install a web-based WEEE system onthe company’s website. Members who already have collection and recyclingarrangements can continue to use these, subject to a short audit of thesearrangements by ENVIRON.
