Partnership With DynaTek Media Extends AMBER Alerts to Gas Stations and Convenience Stores

Leveraging AMBERAlert.com’s mass notification technology andDynaTek’s wireless content management capabilities, the partnership aims tobring real-time AMBER Alert updates to high traffic public areas such asthe nearly 130,000 convenience stores nationwide, where updates can beregularly displayed throughout the entire duration of the alert.

The DynaTek displays typically feature 42-inch color flat screen monitors,placed in strategic locations within a convenience store and 20-inchenclosed color screens on the gas pumps. The screens feature marketingpromotions and video advertisements that run on a programmed loop managedremotely by DynaTek out of their Scottsdale headquarters. The marketingloop would be immediately interrupted by wireless broadcast in the event ofan AMBER Alert. In addition DynaTek’s “Get Converged!” technology strategywill extend the reach even further by integrating text messaging oncellular phones and allow for redirection back to the alert portal.AMBERAlert.com’s mass notification technology, which is already the onlymulti-state primary distribution channel of AMBER Alerts for lawenforcement and hundreds of thousands of registered users across the UnitedStates, would be used to provide the real-time AMBER Alert broadcast dataand updates.
