Commercial Mobile Service Alert Advisory Committee Will Help Implement Warning, Alert and Response Network (WARN) Act of 2006

Pursuant to the WARNAct, the committee will develop and recommend technical standards andprotocols for the voluntary transmission of emergency alerts by CommercialMobile Service (CMS) providers. Mr. Mazor is a developer of software forwireless handheld systems including METAmessage®, which is designed towork with the BlackBerry® wireless platform from Research In Motion (RIM)(NASDAQ: RIMM). Mr. Mazor was nominated to the committee by Congressman SamFarr (CA-17).

The purpose of the WARN Act (H.R. 5785) is to implement a voluntaryNational Alert System to provide a public communications system capable ofalerting the public on a national, regional, or local basis to emergencysituations requiring a public response.
