Orion Capital Incorporated Acquires Shares of Northfield Capital Corporation
TORONTO, ONTARIO — (MARKET WIRE) — February 07, 2007 — On February 6, 2007 Orion Capital Incorporated (”Orion”), purchased 36,234 Class A restricted voting shares (”Class A Shares”) of Northfield
Capital Corporation (NFD: TSXV) (”Northfield”) through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange at a price of $16.25 per Class A Share. Additionally, Mr. William Ballard, the sole owner of Orion and a director of Northfield, purchased 7,500 Class A Shares from the exercise of options at an exercise price of $5.50.
As of February 6, 2007, Orion owns 363,812 Class A Shares and Mr. Ballard owns 20,000 Class A Shares. Together, Orion and Mr. Ballard own 383,812 Class A Shares representing 13.8% of the issued and outstanding Class A Shares of Northfield.
The acquisition of the Class A Shares was made for investment purposes. Mr. Ballard or Orion may from time to time acquire additional securities of Northfield, dispose of some or all of the existing or additional securities it holds or will hold, or may continue to hold its current position.
